At CSCL’s 70th AGM (June 11th, 2024) the Society’s Membership approved a special resolution to change our name to INCLUSION CHILLIWACK SOCIETY.
The name change reflects the evolution in the community living movement; from a focus on deinstitutionalization and living in community, to being fully included
citizens who find belonging.
It represents the work we do and aligns us with our provincial and national federations: Inclusion BC and Inclusion Canada (not to mention will hopefully reduce confusion with Chilliwack
Community Services).
