CSCL was recently honoured for winning the 2015 Business Excellence “Not-for-Profit Service Award” presented by the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce. The Society also sponsored and presented the “Inclusive Employer” award this year recognizing employers who hire people with disabilities. In addition to sponsoring the award, CSCL’s Supported Employment teams nominated many of the Employers affiliated with CSCL. The Downtown BIA was the winner of the first Inclusive Employer Award and CSCL’s Executive Director, Julie Unger, and CSCL’s Associate Director for Employment Services, Nancy Gauvin, were in attendance to present.
