CSCL is thrilled to co-present an exhibition at the Chilliwack Museum highlighting the history of inclusion for people with developmental disabilities.
Our Journey for Inclusion: 70 Years of Innovation opened on Jan. 25 at and runs until June 8. It was developed in partnership with Chilliwack Society for Community Living (CSCL) and Inclusion BC.
This exhibition commemorates CSCL’s 70th anniversary, and examines the history of institutionalization of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in British Columbia, while highlighting stories about the ongoing journey towards inclusion and access in Chilliwack
The Chilliwack Museum is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for seniors/students, $3 for youth (age 13-17), and free for children age 12 and under. Admission is free for everyone on Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
